Is it harmful to a dog’s health to keep their crate in the same room as the cat’s litter box?

My upcoming living situation will require me to keep the dog in the same room as the litter box. Other than the smell, will it affect the dog in any way healthwise?

As long as they’re not TOO close, it should be fine.

The litterbox, if cleaned on a regular basis (a minimum of twice a day) and the litter changed regularly, should not smell.

If the litterbox has an odor, it is not only unhealthy for the dog to be crated there, but for the cat and the humans, too.

If the room is spacious it will be okay but it is the dust from the litter one doesnt need to inhale. Then too who wants to be sitting in a crate next to some other animals poop and pee. Just keep the litter box clean.
